Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager to lead and manage end-to-end new product development activities in the automotive manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for customer coordination, project planning, product feasibility, prototype development, APQP, PPAP and successful product launch.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete New Product Development activities from RFQ stage to mass production.
- Coordinate with customers for new product requirements, drawings, specifications and technical clarifications.
- Review RFQs, customer drawings, BOM and conduct product and process feasibility studies.
- Lead APQP activities and ensure timely completion of PPAP documentation and customer approvals.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, PPC, Purchase, Tool Room and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor prototype development, tooling, fixtures, trials and product validation.
- Ensure timely execution of recent product development projects as per customer requirements.
- Prepare and review PFMEA, Control Plans,



Process Flow Diagrams and other relevant documents.
- Handle engineering changes (ECN/ECR) and ensure effective implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, fixtures, dies and new component development.
- Monitor project timelines, development costs and product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of New Product Development in the automotive industry.
- Hands-on experience in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plan.
- Knowledge of CNC, VMC, HMC machining and/or stamping processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; and technical specifications.
- Experience in RFQ handling, feasibility studies and project management.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
- Strong leadership, team management and customer coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
