Desired Qualification & Experience

- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in handling Shift activities of BTG/BOP area.
- Expertise in equipment condition monitoring, HT and LT switchgear maintenance and trouble shooting.

Industry Type Exposure Thermal Power plant 150MW or Above capacity

Roles and Responsibility/ Duties to be performed.

- Operate and monitor BTG and BOP equipment during shift operations.
- Ensure safe, reliable, and economical operation of the generating unit.
- Monitoring and maintain plant HT/LT motors, Power and Distribution Transformers & HT/LT switchgear parameters within prescribed operating limits.
- Coordinate with the Control Room Shift In charge for smooth plant operation.
- Safety & Compliance Leadership: Enforce strict PTW, LOTO protocols and statutory safety norms to ensure zero accidents/incidents during maintenance works.

Functional Competencies:

- Technical Expertise:



Mastery of HT/LT motor construction, breaker mechanisms and protection schemes for effective troubleshooting and system reliability.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance teams by identifying equipment abnormalities and recommending preventive actions.
- Emergency Handling: Ability to respond effectively to boiler trips, turbine trips, generator trips, blackout conditions, and other emergencies.

Behavioral & Management Competencies:

- Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to guide operators, supervise technicians, allocate work, and ensure adherence to operational and maintenance procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Resilience: Demonstrate analytical thinking to resolve equipment issues during high-pressure plant tripping situations.
- Strategic Resource Management: Effectively plans, utilizes, and optimizes available manpower, equipment, utilities, and materials to ensure safe, reliable, and effective plant operations while minimizing downtime and operational costs.
