Job Title: Assistant EHS Manager

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Working Days: 6 Days (Alternate Saturdays Off)

We are looking for an experienced EHS qualified to manage Environment, Health & Safety operations across corporate office facilities, engineering testing, validation and laboratory environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of statutory compliance, Factory Laws, electrical safety, laboratory safety and workplace risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, Factory Laws, local statutory requirements and safety standards.
- Manage electrical safety, LOTO, fire safety, emergency response and contractor safety programs.
- Oversee EHS operations across engineering testing, validation and laboratory environments.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, JSA and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage work permits, confined space entry, work at height and hot work safety.
- Ensure chemical management, PPE compliance, machine safety and workplace housekeeping.
- Conduct employee safety inductions, contractor training and emergency mock drills.
- Develop and maintain EHS policies, SOPs, safety documentation and compliance records.
- Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Mandatory Skills:

- 5 to 8 years of relevant EHS / Industrial Safety experience.
- Experience in Corporate Office Safety, Facilities Management and Laboratory Operations.




- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and Factory Laws.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Safety, LOTO, Fire Safety and Risk Assessment.
- Experience in engineering, testing or laboratory safety environments.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong English communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Recognized qualification in Industrial Safety / Safety & Security.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Industry Background:

Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D;, Testing Laboratories and Corporate Facilities.

Important: Candidates with predominantly construction safety or civil project site safety experience will not be suitable.
