Role purpose

Leads the warehouse simulation workstream: scopes scenarios with operations, sets modelling standards, reviews models and owns simulation milestones. Makes sure simulation is driven by measured process data from Celonis.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the simulation workstream and plan facility milestones

- Work with operations stakeholders to frame questions and define what if scenarios

- Turn Celonis process insights into governed model input parameters

- Set modelling standards, reusable components and documentation templates

- Review model logic, verification and validation evidence

- Assess existing simulation models taken over from the client and plan their enhancement

- Lead scenario comparison and present recommendations, with decisions made by the client

- Track realised results after a change against simulated targets





- Explore and introduce AI and ML capabilities within AnyLogic

- Guide and review the work of model developers

Required skills and experience

- 7+ years of simulation experience, with significant hands-on experience in AnyLogic

- Robust discrete event simulation and experiment design

- Understanding of warehouse, distribution and material flow operations

- Working knowledge of statistics and probability distributions

- Ability to present simulation results to operations leaders

Preferred

- AnyLogic certification

- Exposure to Celonis or process mining

- Java within AnyLogic

- Validated, documented models

- Recommendations adopted by operations
