Job Title: AI Network Engineer – NVIDIA Networking & AI Factory

Work Model: Data-center based during implementation; 24×7 rotational shifts including night coverage

Role Type: AI Factory Infrastructure Implementation

Role Summary

AI Network Engineer with solid experience in NVIDIA networking technologies and high-performance network implementation for GPU/AI infrastructure.

This role is specifically focused on AI Factory infrastructure and is not a conventional enterprise Cisco networking role. The engineer should have practical experience implementing high-bandwidth, low-latency networks supporting GPU clusters and AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure and implement network infrastructure for enterprise AI/GPU environments.
- Deploy and configure NVIDIA networking/switching technologies.
- Implement and support InfiniBand and/or high-speed Ethernet fabrics.
- Configure and troubleshoot spine-leaf network architectures supporting GPU clusters.
- Perform network connectivity and GPU infrastructure validation during implementation.
- Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity and fabric-related issues.
- Support AI Factory infrastructure commissioning and production readiness.
- Work closely with compute/GPU, storage and data-center infrastructure teams during implementation.
- Participate in implementation, validation and operational handover activities.
- Provide onsite support at the Chennai/SPD data-center location.
- Participate in 24×7 rotational shifts, including potential night-hour support.

Mandatory Skills




- Hands-on NVIDIA networking/switching experience.
- Practical experience with InfiniBand and/or high-speed Ethernet.
- Experience implementing networking for GPU clusters, AI infrastructure or AI Factory environments.
- Strong understanding of spine-leaf architecture.
- Network configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and validation expertise.
- Experience working in a data-center implementation environment.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Chennai/SPD.
- Willingness to support 24×7 rotational shifts/night coverage.

Certification Requirements NVIDIA networking certification such as NCA/NCP is strongly preferred/required based on demand screening criteria.

Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting large-scale GPU infrastructure.
- Experience integrating network infrastructure with compute and high-performance storage.
- Exposure to production AI/HPC environments.
- Experience with GPU cluster validation and performance troubleshooting.

Critical Screening Questions TA/Sourcing should validate these before submitting a profile:
1. Do you have hands-on experience with NVIDIA switches/networking?
2. Have you implemented or supported InfiniBand or high-speed Ethernet?
3. Have you worked on networking for GPU/AI clusters, not just conventional enterprise networks?
4. Do you understand and have hands-on experience with spine-leaf architecture?
5. Do you hold an NVIDIA networking certification such as NCA/NCP?
6. Are you willing to work onsite at Chennai/SPD data center?
7. Are you comfortable working in 24×7 rotational shifts, including night coverage?

Important Sourcing Note Profiles that are predominantly Cisco/traditional enterprise networking without NVIDIA, InfiniBand/high-speed networking or AI/GPU infrastructure experience should not be treated as a fit for this demand.
