Business Vertical: Man-Made Yarns

Role

We are looking for an experienced sourcing skilled to develop and manage supplier network for polyester and other man-made yarns. The role will be responsible for sourcing from India, China and other competitive manufacturing markets to support domestic sales, exports and merchant trade.

Product Focus

- Polyester filament yarn: POY, FDY and DTY.
- Polyester spun yarn and polyester blends.
- Nylon filament and other nylon yarns.
- Viscose and other man-made cellulosic yarns.
- Recycled, dyed, high-tenacity and specialty yarns.

Responsibilities

- Develop supplier relationships in India, China and other sourcing markets.
- Source polyester and man-made yarns at competitive prices.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms,



capacity and delivery schedules.
- Track raw material and yarn price movements.
- Coordinate with sales and quality teams on specifications, sampling and supplier approvals.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.

Qualifications & Skills

- 1015 years of experience in sourcing or procurement of polyester and other man-made yarns.
- Strong technical knowledge of filament and spun yarn specifications, quality and pricing.
- Established relationships with yarn manufacturers and suppliers in India, China and other sourcing markets.
