Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to join our Financial Services tax team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with U.S. partnership tax compliance and consulting, specifically related to the financial services industry. Depending on experience, the role will be filled at the Senior, Deputy Manager, or Manager level.

This position offers a dynamic environment where you will manage client engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to complex tax advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and/or prepare complex U.S. federal and state partnership tax returns (Form 1065) for various financial services entities, including private equity funds, hedge funds, and other investment partnerships.

- Review partnership agreements and financial statements to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.

- Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis on complex partnership tax issues, including allocations, basis adjustments, and K-1 reporting.





- Provide tax planning and advisory services to financial services clients, identifying opportunities for tax efficiencies and risk mitigation.

- Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.

- Supervise, train, and mentor junior tax staff, reviewing their work and fostering their career development.

- Stay current with changes in tax law and regulations affecting partnerships and the financial services industry, and communicate implications to clients and team members.

- Assist with the development and implementation of tax strategies and best practices to improve efficiency and quality of tax services.

- Collaborate with other service lines and internal teams to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

- Prepare and present tax findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
