About the Role

V. K. Lalco Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Accounts Manager for our Nariman Point corporate office.The Accounts Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department. They are responsible for managing financial record-keeping, ensuring tax compliance, supervising the accounting team, and delivering accurate financial statements to support the Group Finance Manager in strategic decision-making.

The Responsibilities of the Candidate Will Entail

- Financial Reporting: Manage daily ledgers, month-end closing, and prepare accurate P&L; and Balance Sheets.
- Tax & Compliance: Oversee timely statutory tax filings (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax) and lead external audits.
- Cash Control: Track operational cash inflows/outflows and supervise vendor/customer reconciliations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior accountants.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely Closing:



Monthly books closed accurately by the target deadline.
- Compliance: Zero penalties for delayed tax filings or statutory non-compliance.
- Audit Quality: Smooth, clean annual external audit reports.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

- 3–7 years in accounting
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Openness to using basic AI tools to speed up daily reporting and routine tasks.
- Fluency in English

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
