Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based at Supreme Mobiles in Tiruppur. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The role includes preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

The Accountant will support internal audits, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with store and management teams to track revenue, expenses, and inventory-related financial data.



The position also involves identifying process improvements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and providing timely financial insights to leadership.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in budget preparation, cost control, and financial analysis to support decision-making in a retail environment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools, as well as solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of local tax regulations, GST, compliance requirements, and basic audit support practices.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and solid organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with store teams, management, and external partners.
- Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA Intermediate, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in retail or FMCG accounting, including inventory and sales reconciliation, will be considered beneficial.
