Company Description Dolphin Group has been operating in the Automobile, Finance, and Insurance sectors since 2001. In the automobile business, the group is an authorized dealer for sales, service, and spare parts for major two-wheeler brands in India, including Suzuki, Yamaha, and TVS. The finance division not only sources business for large finance companies but also runs a captive NBFC to serve diverse market segments.

In insurance, Dolphin Group provides motor, health, and commercial insurance solutions tailored to customer requirements. This multi-industry presence offers team members exposure to integrated automotive, financial, and insurance operations.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in Vasai Virar. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking receivables and payables, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and assisting with financial statements and management reports. The role also involves coordinating with internal departments on billing and cost allocations, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and supporting audits and statutory filings.



The Accountant will help improve accounting processes and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records for the automobile, finance, and insurance operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in general accounting, ledger management, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting, budgeting support, and variance analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable management, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant taxation and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Relevant skills such as effective communication, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and time management are beneficial.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in automotive, finance, or insurance sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
