Job Brief

Study Alpha Academy is looking for a motivated, confident, and student-friendly Student Counsellor who can guide students and parents regarding academic courses, career opportunities, and educational programmes.

The candidate will be responsible for handling student enquiries, understanding their academic requirements, explaining suitable courses, and converting prospective enquiries into admissions.

Job Responsibilities / Scope of Work

- Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and walk-in student enquiries.
- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses and academic programmes.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, goals, and learning requirements.
- Explain course details, fees, duration, schedules, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and interested parents.
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions through effective counselling.
- Maintain student enquiry records, follow-up reports, and admission databases.
- Coordinate with the academic and admission teams.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve monthly enquiry conversion and admission targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate or undergraduate candidates can apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Bengali, Hindi,



and English will be preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of WhatsApp and telephone communication.
- Convincing and problem-solving abilities.
- Freshers with valuable communication skills are welcome.
- Prior experience in counselling, telecalling, or educational institutions will be an advantage.
