Position: Executive – Export

Department: Commercial / Export

Location: Kolkata – Head Office

Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate export operations, ensuring smooth execution of export orders, documentation, shipment planning and compliance with applicable export regulations. The role involves coordinating with international customers, freight forwarders, CHA and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of corn starch and its derivatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, Bills of Lading and Certificates of Origin.
- Coordinate export shipments of corn starch, modified starch and other starch-based products.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA and transporters for timely shipment execution.
- Coordinate with international customers regarding order processing, dispatch schedules and shipment status.
- Handle documentation related to Letter of Credit (LC), advance payments and export remittances.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA and other applicable export regulations.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality,



Accounts and Logistics teams for order execution and dispatch planning.
- Maintain export records, shipment trackers and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in preparing export-related MIS reports, shipment cost statements and outstanding payment reports.
- Monitor export incentives, duty benefits and relevant documentation wherever applicable.

Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (International Business / Finance) or equivalent qualification.

Experience

2–4 years of experience in Export Documentation and Operations, preferably in a manufacturing or agro-based industry.

Technical Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of export documentation and international trade procedures.
- Familiarity with DGFT, ICEGATE, Customs and shipping documentation.
- Working knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC), FEMA and export payment procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally / ERP systems.
- Valuable coordination, communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of international logistics and Incoterms will be preferred.
