Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Fitter role based in Surat. The Mechanical Fitter will install, assemble, and align mechanical components and machinery used in glass manufacturing operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting equipment, identifying mechanical issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and carrying out repairs to minimize downtime. The role involves working with machining tools, following technical drawings, and ensuring all fittings and adjustments meet safety and quality standards. The Mechanical Fitter will collaborate with production and maintenance teams, maintain accurate records of work performed,



and adhere to company safety and housekeeping procedures on the shop floor.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in fitting and working with machinery, including installing, aligning, and assembling mechanical components.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance and preventive maintenance, with the ability to diagnose faults and perform timely repairs.
- Candidates should possess skills in machining, including safe operation of relevant tools and equipment for component modification and fabrication.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings or manuals.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a mechanical fitter or maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
