About the Role:

At Every Desk Industries is looking for a creative and technically skilled Mechanical Machine Designer to design, develop and improve industrial machinery for our compostable packaging and bottle manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop industrial machines, mechanical assemblies and production equipment.
• Create 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Design machine components, moulds, dies, fixtures and tooling.
• Develop and improve machinery for bottle, preform and packaging manufacturing.
• Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Coordinate machine fabrication, assembly, testing and commissioning.




• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.

Required Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Knowledge of machine design, mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of motors, gears, bearings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Practical problem-solving and mechanical design skills.

Preferred: Experience in industrial machinery, injection moulding, extrusion, packaging machinery or automation.
