Role Description The US Tax Experience Preparer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for preparing and reviewing US individual and business tax returns in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Daily tasks include gathering and analyzing client financial information, preparing tax workpapers, ensuring accurate tax calculations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of US tax law and IRS guidelines. The role involves coordinating with team members and clients to resolve tax-related queries, supporting tax planning activities, and helping identify opportunities for process improvements.
The preparer is also expected to meet filing deadlines, maintain detailed documentation,



and follow company standards for quality and compliance.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform accurate Tax Preparation and handle various types of US tax returns.
- Strong understanding of Tax concepts and practical application in a US context.
- Knowledge of Tax Law, including current US federal and state regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with Financial Statements and interpreting financial data for tax purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional tax certifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Excel; familiarity with US tax software is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
