Role Overview

As an Interior Designer at Livspace, you will be responsible for managing residential interior design projects end-to-end, from the initial client interaction and requirement understanding to design finalisation and project handover.

The role requires a combination of creative design skills, customer relationship management, commercial understanding and strong ownership of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand customer requirements, lifestyle preferences, budget and design expectations.
2. Create functional and aesthetically appealing residential interior layouts and space plans.
3. Develop complete design deliverables, including 2D layouts, 3D visualisations and working drawings.
4. Work on modular kitchen, wardrobe, living room, bedroom and complete home interior projects.
5. Present design concepts and proposals to clients and incorporate feedback.
6. Manage client relationships and ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the design journey.
7. Drive design closures and achieve monthly revenue and business targets.
8. Coordinate with sales, design, project management and execution teams.
9. Ensure timely project handover with accurate drawings,



specifications and documentation.
10. Maintain high standards of design quality, customer satisfaction and project ownership.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 1+ year of experience in residential interior design.

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, B.Arch or equivalent qualification.

- Practical experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes and residential space planning.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray or similar design software.

- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, measurements and interior execution.

- Experience in client-facing roles or design-and-build organisations will be preferred.

- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a target-driven environment.

- Strong ownership mindset with a customer-first approach.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in residential interior design studios, modular furniture brands or turnkey interior companies.

- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Commercial awareness and willingness to work towards monthly business targets.

- Local market knowledge of Jammu and surrounding areas will be an added advantage.
