Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing all financial and strategic finance activities of Specmax Technologies. The CFO will manage financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital allocation to support the company’s engineering and project operations. Daily responsibilities include leading the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls,



and overseeing compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves partnering with senior leadership on business strategy, risk management, pricing and contract review, and investment decisions for semiconductor, petrochemical, and related projects. The CFO will also drive process improvements, implement financial systems and tools, liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders, and support sustainable growth through sound financial governance.

Qualifications

- Robust financial management skills, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Expertise in accounting, auditing, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Experience in strategic finance, including capital structuring, investment analysis, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools, ERP or accounting software, and Excel-based financial modeling.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, team management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, semiconductor, or petrochemical industries is highly beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent are preferred.
