Role Description<

The Human Resources Information System Specialist will manage and optimize HRIS tools and workflows to ensure accurate employee data, efficient HR operations, and timely reporting. In this full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, the specialist will configure and maintain HRIS modules, support data integrity across HR processes, and collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to streamline HRIS-related activities; some work-from-home flexibility is available. Daily responsibilities include handling system updates, troubleshooting user issues, generating analytics and dashboards, and supporting processes related to employee benefits, onboarding, performance, and workforce planning.



The specialist will also participate in process improvement initiatives, document HRIS procedures, train HR team members on system usage, and partner with technology teams to integrate HRIS with other business systems. This role is designed for an individual who can balance technical system management with practical HR operations and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) skills, including HRIS configuration, data management, and reporting.
- Candidates should possess foundational Human Resources (HR) knowledge, including core HR processes, employee lifecycle management, and HR policies.
- Candidates should possess experience managing Employee Benefits, such as data administration, eligibility tracking, and coordination with providers.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills and Business Process understanding to interpret HR data, improve workflows, and support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant HR or HRIS certifications are an advantage.
- Experience with common HRIS platforms and MS Excel or similar tools for data analysis; familiarity with HR analytics or dashboards is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information responsibly, and capability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Mumbai.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with HR, technology, and business teams across levels.
