About Buildin

Our Client is building an AI-native, end-to-end construction and renovation platform designed to make professionally managed construction accessible and affordable for Indian households. We are looking for a founding CDO to build and lead the entire construction, design and project-delivery organisation, with the opportunity to shape the company’s operational foundation and participate meaningfully in its equity through ESOPs.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and lead complete construction and project-delivery organisation.

* Establish and manage architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, renovation and maintenance functions.

* Recruit and manage in-house teams and build a network of trusted external architects, contractors, consultants and suppliers.

* Manage the in-house site workforce, supervisors and project teams.

* Oversee projects from initial site assessment and design through budgeting, procurement, execution, quality control and handover.





* Establish standardised service packages, BOQs, cost-estimation methodologies and pricing structures.

* Develop supplier relationships and procurement processes to improve project economics.

* Establish SOPs for project management, quality assurance, site safety and delivery timelines.

* Build the operational workflows required to integrate construction execution with Buildin’s technology platform.

* Recruit and develop the functional teams required to scale operations across multiple cities.

Ideal Candidate

* Solid experience in construction, real estate development, architecture or project management.

* Proven experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.

* Strong understanding of construction costing, BOQs, procurement and site execution.

* Experience managing architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers.

* Ability to build teams, establish systems and manage project economics.

* Entrepreneurial mindset with strong operational and commercial capabilities.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can build an entire construction and delivery organisation from the ground up, not simply manage individual projects.
