Job Description – MEP Engineer
Experience: 2 Years
Industry: Construction / Infrastructure
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Job Summary
We are looking for an MEP Engineer with 2 years of experience in construction projects. The candidate should have basic knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, site execution, installation, inspection and coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in execution and installation of MEP systems at construction sites.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with civil, structural and other engineering teams to avoid clashes.
- Supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting and drainage installation works.
- Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed at the site.
- Conduct site inspections and support testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and project teams for smooth execution.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MEP drawings.
- Understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Positive site coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in MEP execution in construction or infrastructure projects
