Job Description - Food & Beverage Steward (F&B; Steward)

Department : Food & Beverage Service Reports To : Restaurant Manager / Captain / Supervisor Location : Peninsula Redpine Hotel

Job Summary

The F&B; Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards as per hotel SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and courteous manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and serve items accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation before and after service.
- Maintain hygiene, grooming, and service standards at all times.
- Clear tables, reset covers, and ensure smooth table turnover.
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints politely and professionally.
- Follow service sequence and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely and correct order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, cutlery, crockery, and equipment.
- Follow all health, safety,



and hygiene regulations.
- Attend daily briefings and training sessions.

Skills & Competencies

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality and positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Team player with robust customer service focus.
- Physically fit for long standing hours.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th Pass.
- Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management (preferred).
- Freshers can apply.
- 0-2 years of experience in hotel / restaurant service preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
