About the Role : Upcruit.ai is hiring a Senior Mendix Architect on behalf of a client to own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple concurrent Mendix engagements. You'll work with client stakeholders and engineering teams, independently designing, governing, and course-correcting 2 to 3 parallel Mendix projects. The role requires 12 to 19 years of overall IT experience, with 8+ years of deep, hands-on Mendix platform expertise and mandatory Life and Annuities Insurance domain experience.Roles & Responsibilities : Solution Architecture : - Own end-to-end solution architecture for Mendix engagements, covering requirements analysis, feasibility assessment, domain modelling, integration design, security architecture, and nonfunctional requirements such as performance, scalability, and availability.- Translate business requirements into architecture decisions, solution designs, and technical documentation.- Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, module structures, and reusable components to ensure consistency, maintainability, and scalability.- Drive technology decisions regarding Mendix configuration, integrations, and custom development with a focus on long-term maintainability and total cost of ownership.Multi-Project Ownership : - Manage the architecture and technical direction of multiple concurrent Mendix projects while balancing priorities across engagements.- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders during discovery, solution design, delivery, and governance discussions.- Identify and mitigate technical risks, architectural challenges, and cross-project dependencies before they impact delivery.Mendix Platform Expertise :



- Design enterprise solutions using advanced Mendix capabilities including microflows, nanoflows, workflows, Data Hub, native mobile applications, offline capabilities, multi-application landscapes, and cloud deployment models.- Define and implement robust security models, entity access rules, and role-based access strategies suitable for production environments.- Design integration architectures using REST, SOAP, OData, messaging technologies, and Data Hub to enable secure and scalable connectivity with enterprise systems.- Establish deployment strategies, version control standards, workplace management practices, and continuous integration and delivery processes.- Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure adherence to performance, security, and quality standards.Enterprise Architecture and Governance : - Apply enterprise architecture principles across integration, cloud, modernization, and data initiatives to ensure Mendix solutions align with overall technology strategy.- Advise stakeholders on platform strategy, licensing considerations, and Center of Excellence practices.- Mentor Mendix developers, technical leads, and architects through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.- Support presales activities including solution estimation, proof of concepts, technical proposals, and RFP responses.Technical Skills : - Mendix, Microflows and Nanoflows, Workflows, Mendix Data Hub, Native Mobile Applications, REST, SOAP, OData, Messaging Technologies, Cloud Deployment, CI/CD, Version Control, Enterprise Integration, Security Architecture.Domain Skills : - Life and Annuities Insurance (Must).Experience & Certifications : - 12-19 years of overall IT experience.- 8+ years of hands-on Mendix platform experience.- Ideally Mendix Expert Certification.
