The role involves translating product and customer needs into clear requirements and user stories, ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle in a regulated, clinical and research software environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between Product Management, Software Engineering, and V&V; teams

Define Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria for development and verification

Own functional quality and completeness of requirements throughout the development lifecycle

Lead requirements review and backlog refinement to ensure shared understanding of scope

Drive adoption of requirement quality standards, templates, and traceability mechanisms





Requirements

Experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst in software development

Proficiency in Agile/SCRUM methodologies and practices

Robust ability to translate business and customer needs into testable requirements

Experience with requirements traceability, Definition of Ready, and quality standards

Proven skills in cross-functional stakeholder management and decision facilitation

Track record of driving process improvements and metrics-based quality initiatives

Knowledge of regulated software development and V&V; processes (clinical or research domains preferred)
