AI-Augmented Engineer (OutSystems)Role : AI-Augmented Engineer (OutSystems)Employment Type : ContractualJob Summary :We are looking for an AI-Augmented Engineer with strong experience in OutSystems development and AI-assisted software engineering. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining enterprise applications using OutSystems while leveraging AI-powered coding tools to improve development efficiency, code quality and delivery speed.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using OutSystems O11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).- Build responsive web applications, reusable components, application modules and business workflows.- Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and agentic development tools to accelerate application development.- Use AI tools to generate, optimize, debug and refactor application code while ensuring adherence to development standards.- Validate AI-generated code for functionality, security, performance and maintainability before implementation.- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with internal and external enterprise systems.- Implement business logic, data models, database queries and application workflows.- Work with SQL databases to develop queries, optimize data retrieval and improve application performance.- Identify and resolve application defects, technical issues and integration challenges.- Develop unit test cases, perform functional testing and support user acceptance testing.- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with application architecture and coding guidelines.- Support CI/CD processes, application versioning and deployment using OutSystems LifeTime and Azure DevOps.- Collaborate with technical leads, architects,



QA engineers and business stakeholders to deliver application enhancements.- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :- 5 - 8 years of overall experience in software development, application engineering or OutSystems development.- Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems O11 and/or OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).- Experience developing enterprise web applications using OutSystems.- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for code generation, debugging, optimization and refactoring.- Understanding of agentic AI coding workflows and the ability to incorporate AI-generated outputs into development activities.- Strong knowledge of OutSystems application development, reusable components, modules and business logic.- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and SOAP web services.- Good understanding of SQL, database design, queries and performance optimization.- Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization and secure coding practices.- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, unit testing and application maintenance.- Familiarity with Git, version control, CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.- Solid problem-solving and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills :- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar AI-powered development tools.- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agent integrations.- Exposure to Azure DevOps and OutSystems LifeTime.- Understanding of SSO, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and identity integrations.- Experience with responsive UI development and enterprise application integrations.- Familiarity with OutSystems Architecture Dashboard and application performance monitoring.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
