Responsibilities

Build and own a reliable, scalable crawl platform providing unified data across CommerceIQ product lines.

Design distributed systems, scalable services, workflow orchestration, monitoring, and developer experience solutions.

Define technical strategy and collaborate with managers on team roadmaps and priorities.

Lead high-impact projects involving ambiguous problem statements and scalable solution delivery.

Own system architecture, reliability, observability, performance, and engineering best practices.

Mentor and lead engineers while fostering technical excellence and high-quality execution.

Coordinate stakeholders and teams to align on technical decisions.

Review designs, documents, and pull requests to maintain code and system quality.

Develop comprehensive platform ownership and contribute hands-on coding and technical deep dives.

Requirements





- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading small to medium-sized teams.
- Expertise in scalable distributed systems and robust problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with observability, developer experience, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of AWS, Spark, databases, streaming, containers, and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Experience with data-intensive applications and ETL/ELT is a plus.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, independently break down complex problems, and drive solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, coordinate stakeholders, and operate with a high degree of independence.
