About Auto Data Catalog
A business question rarely fits neatly inside one database.

Auto Data Catalog (ADC) helps business users ask questions about their company's data in natural language and get reliable, explainable answers. Our platform builds an evolving knowledge graph of business data to give AI the context it needs to answer accurately.

We're a small engineering team building a product already being used by customers. We're hiring two engineers to help tackle our next set of challenges: answering questions across multiple data sources and analyzing uploaded files.

This is a full-stack role with approximately 80% of the work in Python backend development . Our frontend uses React, Next.js and Tailwind, supported by Django REST Framework APIs.

Enabling users to ask questions that combine information across multiple data sources.
Helping users upload files and analyze their contents through ADC.

You'll own features from design through implementation and production, build database integrations and APIs, improve performance and reliability, and contribute to code reviews and technical decisions. 2–5 years of software development experience , with hands-on experience building and maintaining backend applications.





- Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to reason through unfamiliar problems.
- Python proficiency, or solid backend experience in another language and a willingness to become productive in Python quickly.
- Experience working with APIs, SQL and relational databases.
- Frontend skills can be learned on the job. Experience with Django REST Framework, React, cloud platforms, Docker, data integrations or LLM applications would be useful.

Own meaningful parts of an AI product early in its development.
Work on practical problems involving AI, business context, databases and reliable software.
See your work reach customers and use their feedback to improve it.
Help shape engineering decisions and development practices as the team grows.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation tailored to your skills, experience and the impact you can bring to ADC. We assess each candidate individually, with flexibility for exceptional talent. Gurugram: Our workspace is in Wazirabad, with three days per week in the office.
Candidates can initially work remotely. We may introduce a coworking arrangement as the local team grows.
Gurugram hires should be willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
