The Enterprise Integration Services team plays a pivotal role in connecting and orchestrating systems and applications across the organization. The team specializes in architecting, designing, implementing, and operating secure, scalable integration solutions (APIs, middleware, authentication, messaging, and file-based integrations) that enable seamless data flow, improve business functionality, and support enterprise modernization initiatives. Middleware is critical application for supplying data to different backend, front-end systems & Synchrony applications.

As an Software Development Engineer II, you'll be a part of an amazing team working on our microservice, APIs throughout the entire development process leveraging cloud technologies. Build Microservices, MFE's & API's leveraging cloud technologies with high quality and sound design principles.

Manage DevOps pipelines for Microservices, MFE's & API's

Work with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our products

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned





Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams

Participate in Agile sprints including story writing, planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviews

Provide on-call support

Minimum 2+ years of experience in Java, Spring Projects - Spring Boot, Spring Framework, React JS, Spring Cloud, Git, Maven, REST and SOAP

Experience working on cloud like AWS, Pivotal cloud foundry (PCF).

Knowledge in container application development. Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience working with messaging and streaming technologies RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Kafka etc.

Experience working in logging tools like ELK, splunk etc.

Experience working in Agile application development and familiarity with tools like JIRA

Experience writing unit, integration and e2e tests using frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test

Experience of continuous integration environments and using tools like Jenkins

Experience in developing high quality code with ability to review and leverage quality check tools like Sonar, PMD etc.

Experience designing application using SOLID principles, Java and microservice design patterns with business acumenWorking knowledge in RDBMS.

Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years relevant experience in Information Technology, or in lieu of a degree 4+ years relevant experience in information Technology

The remaining hours will be versatile for the employee to choose. Our way of working allows you the option to work from home or workspaces in our Regional Engagement Hubs—Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, or Delhi/NCR. Occasionally you may be required to commute or travel to Hyderabad or one of the Regional Engagement Hubs for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, trainings, and culture events
