About the job :Impact Analytics is an agentic-first AI software company transforming retail merchandising through cutting-edge AI, LLMs, and Generative AI technologies.As a fast-growing Series D company with deployments across five continents, it is building both industry-leading merchandising solutions and foundational AI agents that are redefining how retail decisions are made.Role Overview :Impact Analytics is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead teams building scalable, cloud-native analytics platforms used by global retail customers.This role blends strong technical leadership in Python-based systems, people management, and ownership of platform reliability, observability, and performance for mission-critical SaaS products.Key Responsibilities :- Lead and grow a team of software engineers delivering Python-based analytics and SaaS platforms- Own delivery of complex, multi-service projects with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance- Provide hands-on technical leadership in Python/Java/C++, PostgreSQL, and SQL-heavy systems- Drive architectural decisions aligned with Impact Analytics' data-intensive and API-driven platforms- Establish and mature observability, monitoring, alerting, and APM practices across services- Ensure high availability and performance of customer-facing systems in production- Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and release readiness- Partner with Product Management and Data Science teams to translate retail business problems into robust engineering solutions- Lead Agile execution including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and delivery tracking- Act as a coach and mentor - supporting hiring, onboarding, performance management,
