Acting as the Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) bridge between the frontline Support Core and engineering pipelines, the Operations Automation Lead analyzes support workloads, diagnoses repetitive operational friction, defines automated runbook parameters, and guides an engineering team to turn human troubleshooting routines into code-driven, self-healing software loops.What you'll do- Toil Analytics & Queue Auditing: Conduct daily audits of ticket logs and alerts across W Digital domains to uncover recurring manual verifications, routine data resets, and system check patterns.- Automation Requirements Definition: Collaborate directly with frontline support engineers to translate manual, text-heavy troubleshooting steps into structured logical workflows and technical specifications for script development.- Automation Backlog & Project Prioritization: Manage the centralized backlog of automation opportunities, prioritizing high-impact toil-elimination projects across domains.- Cross-Regional Alignment: Partner closely with Sydney-based Operations Specialists to verify that automated workflows adhere to localized domain guardrails and retail trade safety windows.- Engineering Mentorship & Upskilling: Coach and guide associate and intermediate engineers to adopt code-first, automation-centric mindsets and practices.- Out-of-Hours & On-Call Triage:
