About Techvruk
Techvruk is a contest-based hiring and engineering talent platform helping students and professionals across India prove their skills through real challenges, not just resumes. We're building the place where talent gets discovered by what it can actually do, and we need designers who can make that experience feel effortless and memorable.

The Role
You'll own the look, feel and flow of the Techvruk platform, from contest pages and participant dashboards to host tools, job listings and our upskilling modules. You'll work closely with the founder and product team, taking ideas from rough sketches to polished, shipped interfaces.

What You'll Do
Design end-to-end user flows for participants, contest hosts, recruiters and experts
Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma
Run quick user research, usability tests and feedback loops with students and professionals
Build and maintain a consistent design system (components, typography, colour, spacing)
Design for mobile and desktop, with accessibility and readability in mind
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
Contribute to brand and marketing visuals: contest creatives, social posts and landing pages

What We're Looking For

- [0–2 / 2–4] years of UI/UX experience (strong freshers with a great portfolio are welcome)
- A portfolio showing your process, not just final screens




- Strong command of Figma; familiarity with Adobe tools or Framer is a plus
- Solid grasp of visual hierarchy, typography, layout and interaction design
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into clean, intuitive experiences
- Clear communication and comfort working in a rapid-moving startup

Nice to Have
Experience designing for edtech, hiring or community platforms
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end constraints
Motion design or micro-interaction skills
Comfort using AI tools to speed up research, ideation, copy and prototyping, with the judgement to refine AI output into original, polished work
Exposure to designing smart features such as recommendations, personalised dashboards or matching experiences (keep only if this is on your roadmap)
