Baxter seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives across enterprise business functions. The role combines strategic problem-solving with hands-on development of production-grade solutions, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lifecycle of advanced analytics and AI solutions from conception through deployment and continuous improvement

Translate business problems into analytical hypotheses, solution designs, and scalable implementation roadmaps

Design and deploy predictive and time-series models for sales forecasting, revenue, and cash-flow management

Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and standards definition

Communicate analytical findings and business implications to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders





Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, data science, IT, or related technical field

Minimum 8 years progressive experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI with enterprise leadership

Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and NLP libraries

Hands-on expertise building production ML models, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI workflows

Robust experience with AWS ML services including SageMaker and Bedrock

Demonstrated ability designing, deploying, and monitoring production models with MLOps practices

Domain expertise in finance, FinTech, sales, supply chain, or healthcare analytics
