Acute InfoSoft Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior QA Consultant - Varicent to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad. We are looking for an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in Varicent, Varicent v10, manual testing, SQL, enterprise application testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute manual testing for Varicent and enterprise applications.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Analyze business and functional requirements and provide QA recommendations.
- Create, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Prepare and manage test data for application releases and business-plan transitions.
- Perform SQL/MySQL data validation to verify application and database accuracy.
- Identify, document, analyze, and triage software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to investigate and resolve application issues.
- Support software releases, transition activities, post-production validation, and production support.
- Troubleshoot production issues and assist technical teams in identifying appropriate solutions.
- Validate defect fixes and perform regression testing before production deployment.
- Prepare QA reports, test execution reports, defect reports, and project quality updates.
- Identify potential quality risks and provide practical recommendations for improving application reliability.
- Work with development,



product, business, and QA teams to improve testing processes and release quality.
- Mentor junior QA professionals and support QA training and onboarding.

Required Skills and Experience

- 4+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or enterprise application testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Varicent / Varicent v10.
- Good experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Regression Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Strong knowledge of test case and test scenario design.
- Experience with SQL/MySQL and database validation.
- Practical experience in production and post-production support.
- Experience in defect management, defect triage, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Anaplan is an advantage.
- Varicent v10 certification is preferred.
- Anaplan L1/L2 certification is an advantage.
- Experience with enterprise planning, compensation, or related business applications.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.

Education and Certifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
