About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products while collaborating with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Data Operations teams, and Business Stakeholders to deliver business-critical insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
- Build scalable data solutions using Python, SQL, and Google BigQuery.
- Optimize data processing, query performance, and cloud-based data warehouse environments.
- Implement data models, database schemas, and data architecture best practices.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and governance compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products aligned with business objectives.
- Support CI/CD practices, automation, and DevOps processes for data platforms.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor data systems and recommend improvements for operational excellence.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across data engineering processes.

Required Skills

Data Engineering & Development

- Robust experience in Data Engineering and ETL/ELT development.
- Proficiency in Python and Advanced SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and cloud data warehousing platforms.
- Experience in Data Modelling (Dimensional & Relational).
- Knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Pipelines, and System Integration.
- Database Administration, Performance Tuning, and Optimization.
- Exposure to Software Engineering best practices, Git, and version control.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.

Data Governance & Security

- Knowledge of Data Privacy, Security, and Compliance standards.
- Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality frameworks.
- Understanding of Responsible AI and AI Literacy concepts.

Analytical & Business Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in Data Storytelling and Business Insights generation.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
