- Operate CNC milling machines as per engineering drawings and CNC programs.
- Set up components, fixtures, and cutting tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Perform dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure component quality, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
- Monitor machining operations and report any abnormalities.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and production records.
Required Skills:
- CNC milling machine operation.
- Engineering drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of precision machining.
- Experience in aerospace and defence component machining is preferred.
