1. Job Definition

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers under the guidance of the Senior Engineer.

2.Role Summary

The role involves preparing accurate proposals and quotations, processing customer orders, maintaining sales records, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely communication with customers.

The Sales Engineer is expected to develop product knowledge, understand customer requirements, maintain accuracy in documentation, and gradually develop the capability to handle customer enquiries and business responsibilities independently.

3. Key Responsibilities

1. Acquire product knowledge as per the training matrix and apply it in customer interactions.

2. Prepare proposals/quotations accurately and submit them to customers in time.

3. Process customer orders promptly, prepare sales orders, and submit them for approval to the Sr. Engineer.

4. Maintain proper records of quotations, sales orders, and the sales funnel.

5.



Provide consistent technical and commercial support to customers.

6. Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Imports, Procurement, Production, QC, Service) to ensure smooth execution of orders.

7. Continuously learn and develop professional skills to grow into an independent business handler.

Requirements (Eligibility)

Graduate Engineers (Mechanical/Electrical/ electronic Instrumentation) with experience in technical sales or project-based industries. Candidates with exposure to valves, pumps, or process equipment will be most suitable.

Career Growth Path
