We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data systems that support our business analytics and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support business analytics.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide relevant datasets.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing.
- Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and address any issues that arise.

Skills and Qualifications





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data services.
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions like Redshift, Snowflake, or Big Query.
- Experience with data modeling and data architecture best practices.
