Role Description The Junior Advocate will work in office at Rajiv Legal’s Mumbai office in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting senior advocates in case preparation, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents, and attending court hearings and client meetings as required. The role also involves maintaining case files, organizing documentation, and ensuring accuracy in submissions and correspondence. The Junior Advocate will collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies, keep up to date with relevant laws and precedents, and support client communication in a professional and confidential manner.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in legal research, case law analysis, and statutory interpretation.
Candidates should possess skills in drafting pleadings, agreements, and legal notices with attention to detail.
Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, court work, and internal collaboration.
Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines.
Candidates should possess professional ethics, integrity, and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution and eligibility to practice law in India; enrollment with the Bar Council is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with senior advocates and other team members.
Prior internship or junior-level experience in litigation or a law firm setting is an advantage.
