Role Description The Academic Counsellor is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role involves providing guidance to students on academic pathways, course selections, and educational opportunities, ensuring alignment with their interests and long-term goals. The Academic Counsellor conducts one-on-one counseling sessions, facilitates career and academic workshops, and collaborates with educational institutions or internal teams to support student success.



Daily tasks include maintaining accurate student records, preparing counseling reports, and communicating regularly with students, parents, and stakeholders to address academic concerns. The role also requires staying updated on educational trends, admission processes, and career options to offer informed and current advice.
Qualifications
Robust student support skills, including Student Counseling and Academic Advising.
Experience in Career Counseling and guidance on educational and qualified pathways.
Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and institutional stakeholders.
Educational background in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and manage multiple student cases with attention to detail.
Proficiency in maintaining documentation, using basic digital tools, and preparing counseling reports.
Experience in academic institutions, training centers, or counseling roles is an advantage.
Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and commitment to providing inclusive, non-discriminatory support.
