Designation: Assistant Manager – Purchase

Reports To: Purchase Manager / Head – Procurement

Experience: 5–8 years (indicative)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a relevant degree; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred.

Job Purpose To manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements, optimize procurement costs, develop supplier relationships, and maintain effective control over inventory, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.

Required Skills And Competencies
Robust negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
Working knowledge of MRP, BOM, ERP/SAP,



and inventory management.
Understanding of electronics components, PCBA, mechanical parts, and manufacturing supply chains.
Analytical skills for cost comparison, shortage analysis, and inventory optimization.
Supplier relationship management and escalation handling.
Cross-functional coordination and team leadership.
Robust Excel skills, reporting discipline, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work under tight production timelines and manage multiple priorities.
