Qualification: B.Tech (Electronics & Communication / Electrical Engineering)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee telecom network operations across the Bengal circle. The role involves managing site operations, ensuring network uptime, vendor management, and driving operational excellence in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end telecom site operations across assigned cluster/area
Ensure high network uptime and service availability (2G/3G/4G/5G infrastructure)
Monitor and optimize O&M; (Operations & Maintenance) activities
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for service delivery
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
Handle preventive and corrective maintenance planning
Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency
Monitor SLA/KPI performance and ensure adherence
Manage site readiness, rollout support, and upgrade activities
Prepare MIS reports, performance dashboards, and operational insights

Required Skills (Telecom-Focused)

Technical Skills
Telecom Network Operations (Passive + Active Infrastructure)
BTS / NodeB / eNodeB site management
Fiber (OFC)

Power systems (DG, Battery banks, Electrical panels)

Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies

Experience
38 years of experience in telecom operations / network management
Experience in tower companies or telecom service providers preferred

Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel across assigned locations in Bengal
Robust understanding of field operations and team supervision
