Key Responsibilities

Business Development
Proactively identify potential customers, projects, and business opportunities for recent businesses
Build and maintain a solid pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders
Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products

Sales Management:
Present product offerings and solutions to customers in a compelling and informative manner
Resource Estimation / Costing & Tendering
Develop customized proposals and quotations for commercial projects, ensuring they align with customer requirements and budgets
Primary Negotiation with client as well as contractors
Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers as required, addressing their queries
Sufficient knowledge of financial,



contractual (bonds & guarantees,) and legal (obligations, penalties) aspects to be able to interface with internal relevant parties, and assess impacts on costing

Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, legal etc. to ensure efficient pitching and seamless customer experience
Support in project management as required

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and update customer information in the CRM system
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports for current business

Skill Sets & Personality characteristics -
Hands-on experience or strong technical and industry knowledge of advanced battery technologies, particularly Ni-Cd and Li-ion batteries, with exposure to railway, locomotive, metro rail, and industrial applications.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills for budgeting and cost calculations.
Enterprising individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
