About the role

ABC Legal is building its team for retainer work for a corporate client. We need a lawyer who can dig in, work hard, and support the partner on commercial drafting, advisory and day-to-day counsel for a demanding live retainer.

This is not a dramatic career-jump advert. It is for someone with zeal, determination and a practical mindset.

What you will do
Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and related documents
Research and note regulatory and compliance points clearly for the partner
Work with the client’s teams in plain language




Keep files, versions and status notes in order
Own workstreams and turn work around to commercial timelines

Who should apply
LL.B. from a recognised Indian university; enrolled with a State Bar Council
Comfortable drafting in English and working to deadlines
Zeal, determination and a practical mindset — we care about how you work, not only where you trained
Discretion with confidential and commercially sensitive material
Relevant prior experience that you can discuss at interview is welcome; it is not a hard filter
