Position: Design Engineer – Product Design & Development (TK24ST RM 4590) MANDATORY SKILLS : CATIA, Costing

PREFERRED SKILLS : Costing Catia support, Casting, Forging and Machining components. Education : BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Industry : Automotive / Commercial Vehicle
Experience in Product Design & Development.
Robust working experience in CATIA V5 covering Sheet Metal, Plastics, Surface Modeling, Assembly and Drawing Creation.
Must have experience in Teamcenter.
Experience with visualization tools such as Vis Professional / VisMockup.
Creo 9.0 / Unigraphics knowledge is optional.
Expertise in Part Modeling, Assembly and Detailing modules in CATIA.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and standards.
Valuable knowledge of GD&T.;




Experience in commercial vehicle body design such as Roof, Floor, Seating Design and Installation Drawings is an added advantage.
Experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept Creation and assembly processes.
Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of relevant Regulations & Homologation requirements.
Valuable communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in shifts and at different levels within the project organization based on requirements.
