Job Summary An experienced Design Engineer (ACHE) with expertise in the design and engineering of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related process equipment. The candidate should possess solid knowledge of ASME codes and standards, hands-on experience with PV Elite, and exposure to engineering projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), pressure vessels, and heat exchangers in accordance with applicable ASME codes, standards, and project specifications.
Perform mechanical design calculations using PV Elite and other relevant engineering tools.
Prepare and review equipment datasheets, design calculations, engineering drawings, technical specifications and review manufacturing drawings.
Co-ordination with AI for design approval & relevant co-ordination with quality teams
Review 3D models & their integration
Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, safety guidelines,



and applicable codes.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams, clients, consultants, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Review bought out component vendor documents, technical bids and provide technical clarifications as required.
Support proposal engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering issues during project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
Proven experience in the design of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), Pressure Vessels, and Heat Exchangers.
Proficiency in PV Elite and sound knowledge of ASME Section VIII and related design codes and standards.
Well versed in Inventor & Navisworks
Experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects.
Ability to interpret engineering specifications, process data sheets, and technical drawings.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
