Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience
5–8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
Working knowledge of Azure VMs, AKS, Azure Functions, Blob Storage and Azure SQL / managed databases.
Positive understanding of Azure networking: VPN, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
Experience with identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC), encryption and key management.
Exposure to hybrid connectivity and on-premises Windows/Active Directory is a plus.

Technical Skills
Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform.
GitHub or Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines/Workflows).
Scripting: PowerShell and Azure CLI (Python is a plus).
Containers: Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.
Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.

Certifications (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or GitHub Foundations or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) – a plus

Soft Skills
Explicit communication and teamwork across functions.
Ability to take direction, follow standards and learn quickly.
