Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Construction Planner (Mechanical Engineer) to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for large-scale industrial, manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects. The role involves planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource loading, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
Prepare Level 1 to Level 4 project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
Perform construction planning for mechanical activities including:




Piping
Equipment Erection
Steel Structures
Tanks & Vessels
Rotating Equipment
Utility Systems
Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks.
Monitor project progress and update schedules periodically.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, and client teams.
Analyze delays, productivity trends, and prepare recovery plans.
Develop manpower, equipment, and resource histograms.
Support project cost control and forecasting activities.
Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule insights.
Track milestone achievements and ensure contractual schedule compliance.
Assist in shutdown, turnaround, and commissioning planning activities.
