We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a solid background in GitLab to join our dynamic team at SBI NaviMumbai. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our platform's reliability, scalability, and performance while ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate deployment processes.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline code integration and delivery.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle.
Document processes, configurations, and workflows for team knowledge sharing.
Participate in on call rotations and provide support for production systems.

Mandatory Skills:
Robust expertise in GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline creation and management.




Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Preferred Skills:
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
Experience in working with microservices architecture.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GitLab Certified Associate).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 7 years of experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
Proven track record of successfully implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure.
Solid problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
