Unistone is looking for a designer to develop contemporary, manufacturable aluminium sheet-metal facade products.

The role is suited to someone who can turn design concepts into coordinated 3D models, fabrication drawings and production-ready files. Experience with a facade or architectural-metal company is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
Design facade cassettes, folded panels, screens, fins, louvers and other custom sheet-metal elements.
Develop repeatable product families and parametric patterns for architectural use.
Prepare 3D models, fabrication drawings, flat patterns, DXF/STEP files, BOMs and assembly details.
Coordinate designs with CNC cutting, punching, bending, welding and finishing processes.
Develop practical fixing systems and details for facade installation.
Work with the sales,



production and installation teams to resolve design and manufacturing requirements.

Requirements
Working knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper and SolidWorks.
Experience designing aluminium sheet-metal or facade products.
Understanding of sheet development, bend allowances, fabrication tolerances, material thicknesses and assembly methods.
Ability to create transparent production drawings and communicate with workshop teams.
A portfolio showing relevant faade, metal or product-design work is required.

Experience: Preferably 3+ years in facade design, architectural metal or sheet-metal product design
