Junior Merchandiser – Roles and Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To coordinate customer orders, follow up on production activities, maintain order records and ensure timely delivery of products as per customer requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Receive and process customer purchase orders and maintain order details.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality and Packing departments for order execution.
Follow up on daily production progress and ensure orders are completed within the scheduled time.
Coordinate sample development, submission and customer approval.
Follow up with Stores and Purchase departments regarding raw material availability.
Maintain customer-wise order records, product specifications and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with the Dispatch department to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
Communicate order status, delivery updates and customer requirements to the concerned departments.




Prepare and update order tracking reports, pending order statements and MIS using MS Excel.
Identify order delays or production-related issues and report them to the Senior Merchandiser.

Required Skills
Any Degree or Diploma.
Basic knowledge of merchandising and order processing.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Valuable follow-up, documentation and time-management skills.

Reporting to: Senior Merchandiser / Merchandising Manager. Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Experience
Retail Merchandising Occupations: 4 years (Preferred)
