We are looking for a legally trained skilled with robust editorial expertise who can evaluate both the legal substance and editorial quality of manuscripts and take ownership of content through the publication process.

Key Responsibilities
Review and edit legal manuscripts for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and legal substance.
Conduct legal research and validate case law, statutes, regulations, and legal references.
Perform substantive/developmental editing, beyond basic copyediting and proofreading.
Assess manuscripts for legal accuracy, structure, argumentation, and overall editorial quality.
Work independently on complex legal content and coordinate effectively with authors and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to appropriate legal citation and editorial standards. • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while meeting publishing timelines.

Candidate Profile
LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification is mandatory.
Experience in legal editing,



legal publishing, legal research, or legal-content roles.
Robust understanding of case law, statutes, regulations, and legal research methodologies.
Proven experience in substantive/developmental editing.
Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to manage complex manuscripts independently and work effectively under deadlines.
